Router antenna manufacturers teach you how to judge whether the performance meets your needs

Signal coverage
Use mobile devices (such as mobile phones and tablets) to connect to the router's Wi-Fi network at different locations and check the signal strength indicator. If a strong and stable signal can be maintained in the expected coverage area, it usually indicates that the antenna performance is good.
You can use professional Wi-Fi signal test tools or applications to draw a heat map of signal strength to intuitively understand the uniformity and strength of signal coverage.
Data transmission rate
Perform a large file download or upload test to check whether the actual data transmission rate meets expectations. If stable high-speed transmission can be achieved in multiple locations, it means that the antenna performance meets the requirements.
You can evaluate the transmission rate through online speed test websites or dedicated network speed test tools.
Stability and anti-interference ability
Use the network for a long time and observe whether there are frequent disconnections, freezes or signal interruptions. If the network connection is stable and rarely fails, it means that the antenna has good anti-interference ability and stability.
When there are other electronic devices or Wi-Fi networks around, check whether the network performance is significantly affected.
Multi-device connection performance
Connect multiple devices at the same time to see if the network performance of each device can be maintained well. If a smooth network experience can still be achieved when multiple devices are connected, it means that the antenna can cope with the needs of multiple devices.

Penetration
For areas with obstacles (such as walls and furniture), test whether the signal can effectively penetrate and maintain usable strength. If it can successfully penetrate common obstacles without obvious signal attenuation, it indicates that the antenna has strong penetration ability.
Band support
Confirm whether the router antenna supports the required frequency bands (such as 2.4GHz and 5GHz) and can provide good performance on each frequency band.
